An early first-inning tie was blown out of the water by the fourth, as Florida State University (20-3) rolled past the University of Florida (14-10) 14-3 in the shortened contest. The ranked matchup at 121 Financial Ballpark in Jacksonville on Tuesday night gave Florida State the season series win, their first against Florida since 2015.

The perfect script for the Inaugural Jax College Baseball Classic championship, as unbeaten Auburn and Virginia faced off in the final game of the tournament. Virginia remained undefeated, trickling in enough runs to deal Auburn their first loss of the season. The Jax Baseball Classic champion ‘Hoos celebrated on the field following the win, hoisting the championship belt high into the night.

12 runs in the final four innings, the Shockers rallied around a collective bullpen effort and put runs on the board when it mattered. Iowa, unable to find home plate in the final stages of the contest, lost their third straight closing out both programs' time at the Jax College Baseball Classic.

An early six-run Hawkeye lead was not enough to withstand the Hoo’s late rally Saturday night. Once even with Iowa in the seventh, the teams traded runs before Virginia’s ninth-inning heroics were put on full display for the second day in a row at the Jax College Baseball Classic.

Auburn opened the game with a grand slam courtesy of Cooper McMurray on just their fourth at-bat, and only added on. Winning by way of the 10-run rule, the Tigers (6-0) defeated Wichita State 19-8 in seven innings.

Auburn bats played a waiting game, and patience paid off. They’d escape an early deficit and defeat Iowa 7-5 powered by much-improved late-game pitching and hitting. The Tigers improve to 5-0, and Iowa drops their second of the early season.

The Inaugural Jax College Baseball Classic opened with a bang, as Virginia stole the first game of the tournament from Wichita State in extras.

Henry Ford notched a walk-off double off the right field wall, scoring two runs and improving the 'Hoos record to 5-0.

A Guy Ragland Jr. layup early in the first half gave Cornell a one-point lead that the Big Red would expand on the rest of the way. Cornell beat the UVU Wolverines 74-61, going 2-0 at the Jacksonville Classic and taking home the Bay Bracket Championship.

The Phillies went into Atlanta and accomplished a feat no other team was able to; Philadelphia shutout the Braves at home, winning 3-0 with seven pitchers reaching the mound.

Growing up in a family full of basketball coaches and players, it doesn’t sound too far-fetched for Kayla Debrow to pursue her own career in the sport.

The only difference is she’ll have to do it without the ability to hear.

A good connection from his last team and an opportunity 800 miles away was all Chase Fiddler needed to restart his basketball career after years away from the game. A change of scenery and a new family at Flagler allowed Fiddler to reach places he'd never previously thought possible.

New Flagler men's basketball head coach, Blake Selland, coach vocalizes his expectations on his first season with a young team. Attributing high praise to the culture that former coach Chad Warner instilled in the program.

The Flagler basketball team, under new management with Blake Selland at head coach, could not manage a win at the Small College Hall of Fame Classic. Loses to Florida Southern and Northwest Missouri State University over the weekend were highlighted by Kyle Young's play, being named to the all-tournament team.

A multi-player profile on two Flagler College lacrosse transfers who lived across the street from each other, but never had the opportunity to play together at the same school. After realizing their initial colleges weren't for them, the connections to Flagler from both of their fathers' former lacrosse career brought them back together.

Harden will sign a two-year deal with the second year being a player option, he has yet to put pen to paper and finalize the entire agreement

With the specifications of the 2nd year of the deal yet to be determined, looking forward to the next offseason without the supporting detail of what it will cost the Sixers to keep Harden keeps it foggy

James Harden has declined his player option of $46.8 million for the 2022-23 season, according to Adrian Wojnarowski, as it has been rumored throughout the day. 

This looks to be done to secure a longer-term deal with less money per year that will allow the Sixers to pursue other team needs in free agency, i.e. PJ Tucker.

Joel Embiid knocks down a last second three in overtime to win game 3 in Toronto 104-101.

After missing from the same spot at the end of regulation Embiid reasoned he chose that spot on the floor to shoot from twice because it is one of his favorites, leaving little room for critique after making the overtime attempt.

Saint Peter's Men's basketball season has come to an end at the hands of UNC, accomplishing what no other 15-seed had ever done in the NCAA Tournament.

Winning in the Sweet Sixteen against Purdue proved a historic feat, as the 2022 St. Peter’s Peacocks had become the highest seeded team to ever reach the Elite Eight.
